Cheese Prata and Highlighted Hair

Maria: Got my hair highlighted today - Louis is closing his shop and tomorrow's his last day!  Wanted to do really chunky tri colour highlights but didn't really get the effect but the blonde streaks will get lighter by the time it washes out anyways, how cool is the cyborg meets futuristic barbarian hair in foil look?
K this is worth mentioning, we the die hard fans of Shah Alam prata shop in Boat Quay have jumped ship!  Never thot we'd say this but here is the lowdown! Angel and I wanted to get cheese prata for dinner so naturally we trodded down to Shah Alam but as usual they don't have pratas for lunch, dinner or anytime before 9pm! So instead of settling, we went a few shops down to this place called Juliet Restaurant. A few cheese pratas and teh pengs later, we were blown away. Beauty of it was that every aspect of that experience was better then Shah Alam, this place was cleaner, had forks and spoons on every table, friendlier ppl, less greasy prata and the clincher was when the bill came up to $10.20, he said just $10 can way before we started digging for coins. You can forget it at Shah Alam - 10 cents you can dig til the cows come home and they still expect you to cough it up. And this is after we've been to Shah Alam abt 240 times in our lifetime.
Make the better choice, choose Juliet Restaurant!

Day 3 of the Festivus!!

|
Yesterday after Alpha we met for prata and tea and then to a cafe at Excelsior Hotel with Shane and Nicole to usher in THE DAY! Mouse joined us later and went to............ a KARAOKE bar! It was fun though, we sang California Dreamin and Downtown! Muahahah!!
Today we had an intimate dinner at Spizza! Just a few of us and our mums came as well! Pictures are below but had to mention that Spizza's standard has declined drastically. Sadly so has the service, we waited close to an hour for the pizzas, and we had to constantly ask for water. When the cake was brought out, they put one candle. Leh. Then after they brought it back on to put on the rest, they didn't bring plates and forks. Maybe we weren't the easiest of customers but we were quite disappointed, we just hoped they didn't spit in our food!

Let the festivus begin!!

A member birthday usually spans celebrations of 3 days! So today is Day #1. We started off with flowers delivered to the office to Angel, a bouquet that just screamed her with a whacko smiley face, sunflowers and orange geberas! 
Then after work, we headed to Da Paolo's at Neil Road! Beautiful restaurant where couples next to us exchange gifts and girls get presented with big ass Tiffany & Co boxes... We ate til we were completely stuffed (the creme brulee was divine  ) then met Mouse!
We wanted to go to the Usher launch but we reached Boat Quay and changed our minds so no prizes where we landed up. NEWASIA! We made our minds to leave early but that of course didn't happen so we announced Angel's birthday and she got called to the bar for a free waterfall! Music was just bad though, normal sets got peppered with chinese songs and Square rooms... We kept walking off the dance floor and walking back, think we got more exercise doing that than the dancing itself. Met a few ppl, less than the usual crowd and just partayyyed!
